Plant Manager to lead a high-speed plant by creating the strategic direction for a 24/7 brewing and batching both craft and RTD (ready to drink) operations
Perform internal and external benchmarking, analysis, target setting, and publishing of key performance indicators (KPI).
Partner with corporate HR & Executive Supply Chain Leadership to evaluate and hire staff creating a culture of inclusiveness, mutual trust and understanding
Develop autonomous working teams capable of managing the brewing and batching operations running on a 24/7 schedule.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers and external suppliers to ensure consistency among processes and procedures.
Management of the manufacturing process for our products with an emphasis on People, Quality, Customer Service and Cost.
Measure performance against capital expenditure strategy and process manufacturing strategy.
Identify and implement manufacturing process improvement opportunities.
Performance Measures:
Accountable for the ongoing development of KPIs within the role domain, and collaboration of cross-functional KPIs. Current measures include but are not limited to:
People – Safety, Training & Development, Cross-Functional Effectiveness
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time.
Ability to manage and implement quality requirements including product specifications and sensory evaluation.
Experience initiating and managing capital projects from conception to completion
Expert knowledge of brewing and blending. IBD Brewing or equivalent certification / experience required.
Thorough understanding of cleaning and sanitation technology.
Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to negotiate and influence effectively with internal and external partners.
Experience working within a union manufacturing environment.
Proficient in the identification, management and resolution of risk relating to raw materials, ingredients, processes and products, and willingness to proactively take necessary precautions to minimize risk.
Working knowledge of ISO, GMP, JSA, and HACCP food safety as it relates to the manufacturing process.
Working knowledge of TTB requirements for alcoholic beverages including tax policy, state and federal regulations, SOP and COLA approvals.
