    The CI Operations Planning & Performance Director will report to the VP of Global Supply Chain in operations and is responsible for transforming operations to yield improved manufacturing speed, quality, and productivity utilizing continuous improvement methodologies. This executive level role will lead operational teams to harmonize planning processes across global business units, establish common metrics and lead strategic initiatives related to LEAN, digitization, and materials. Experienced operationally focused leader and effective change agent with bias for action.

    Responsible for transforming operations into more of a CI culture, leading teams to establish common KPI’s, digitization etc. This is a true change agent leadership position.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
    • Management experience of a minimum of 10 additional years of experience leading teams in Manufacturing, Quality or Material(s) management – will lead a team of highly collaborative direct reports across multiple operating units establishing common metrics, processes leading continuous improvement
    • Experience leading operational change in a complex, globally diverse matrixed global manufacturing organization
    • Global Manufacturing experience - heavy industrial
    • Clear thinker at an executive level, able to analyze and resolve complex problems
    • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects ensuring buy-in from key stakeholders in a matrix environment
    • Established project management skills, experience documenting, planning, and stabilizing programs
    • Ability to work effectively across functions; extensive experience leading cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams, proven mentoring and coaching abilities, ability to motivate & inspire others
    • LEAN & CI Certifications a plus i.e. Six Sigma, Black Belt, Master Black Belt etc.

    Responsibilities

    • Organizational change agent responsible for delivering performance excellence through execution of lean initiatives
    • Partner with manufacturing leadership teams to ensure the best technical decisions and scalability of factory improvements
    • Lead a team of 6 direct reports across KPIs/Metrics, Materials & Inventory, SIOP, Management systems, LEAN and Digitization
    • Coach senior management in the application of lean, six sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies; define success in financial terms
    • Lead teams in creating and enabling SIOP, materials planning processes and systems across global operations
    • Manage implementation of lean manufacturing across global operations including establishment of standards, metrics, employee training, kaizen workouts, change implementation, and after-action reviews
    • Optimize inventory planning and process improvements including implementation of digital solutions
    • Continuously evaluate operational best practices for inclusion in lean standards; develop training materials and programs to support and sustain standard operating procedures
    • Staff, manage and mentor a team of cross functional operational experts
    • Provide 360 feedback on management tools and propose improvements
