    Job Description

    We are partnering with a well established company in Lake Mary, FL to find MEDICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALISTS to become a vital part of their team! Assist this growing organization by reviewing medical record release requests for accuracy and compliance. If you have an eye for details and enjoy analyzing and interpreting data, this is the job for you!

    OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FROM HOME AFTER 3 MONTH TRAINING PERIOD! MUST BE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND WITHIN AN HOUR COMMUTE OF LAKE MARY

    HOURS: Monday – Friday, Shifts will be between 7:00am – 6:00pm

    PAY RATE: $15/hr

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

    • Read, understand, interpret and analyze medical records, forms, etc
    • Organize records and documents
    • Communicate with company personnel in a friendly and professional manner
    • Attend training sessions
    • Support the resolution of compliance issues in a timely manner
    • Other clerical duties as assigned
    • OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FROM HOME AFTER 3 MONTH TRAINING PERIOD MUST BE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND WITHIN AN HOUR COMMUTE OF LAKE MARY
    • Qualified candidates will be vaccinated against COVID-19

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Additional education in Health Information preferred.
    • RHIT certification preferred
    • Healthcare experience preferred.
    • 2+ years of administrative experience
    • Proficient computer skills
    • Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations
    • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Ability to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work effectively and independently
