Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant/Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (C.P.S.P.) to join our healthcare team. Will work under the direct supervision of the Clinic Administrator.
Duties
Will be responsible for ongoing Prenatal/Postpartum health education services on a one-on-one basis or in groups.
The CPSP will facilitate access for women to existing medical/clinical services, their children, and their families.
The CPSP worker will participate in educational and awareness campaigns to develop collaborative support and referral for the clinic. S/he will develop program reports, narrative activity descriptions, reviews, and other reports for evaluating and analyzing program activities.
May assist in writing proposals and generating quarterly reports to management and funding sources.
Will perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Administrator.
Experience
H.S. Diploma and three (3) years experience in community development work. Requires CPSP Certification.
Requirements:
Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Driver's License.
Must submit to and pass a drug test and criminal background check as a precondition to employment.
Must provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 with booster, Hepatitis B, TDAP, and MMR. Must provide recent TB test.
BLS/CPR certification required.
