RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and implementing regional purchasing strategies for logistics and packaging
• Analyzing the regional procurement markets
• In coordination with the plants, recording and processing the procurement requirements in the region
• Selecting suppliers and conducting supplier negotiations according to the approved negotiation strategy
• Identifying and evaluating new regional and local suppliers
• Analyzing and developing standardization opportunities together with the departments
• Identifying and implementing potential savings

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a Purchasing capacity for freight, logistic services and packaging – that include sourcing, launch, cost optimization and supply base management.
• Analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents (drawings, specs, engineering changes)
• Knowledge of MRP systems
• Proficient in Office365
