Position Overview:

The Environmental, Health and Safety Assistant will assist with the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs that ensure that CR&R’s compliance requirements are met or exceeded. This position will support compliance efforts and continuous EHS improvement strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintains EHS software for record-keeping and permit tracking
• Reviews documentation for completeness on investigations and responsible for investigation countermeasure follow up
• Responsible for ensuring all safety procedures are implemented at each job site
• Assist in coordinating logistics for training programs, such as training materials, equipment and room reservations
• Performs administrative tasks as needed (PowerPoint slide preparation, Excel spreadsheet creation), as directed by EHS Manager

Candidate Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college strongly preferred
• Two to three years of experience in Environmental, Health, Safety discipline preferred
• One to two years of experience in the highly-visible administrative role required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail abilities
