Licensed Vocational Nurse Responsibilities:

Perform a full range of diagnostic support duties

Assist the physician in a variety of diagnostic examinations

Prepare patients for tests, examinations, and treatments

Collect required specimens, and prepare for the laboratory for examination

Address clinic alerts in a timely manner

Obtain and document patient and pertinent family history

Perform timely, accurate, and concise documentation of patient care

Perform other duties as assigned

Licensed Vocational Nurse Qualifications:

A graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program

Must have experience with adults.

Must have a minimum of 1-year experience as an LVN in a Primary Care setting

Must have a current unrestricted TX state license

Must hold a current and valid BLS certification

Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred
