    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Vice President is responsible of EHS is responsible for EHS policies and procedures for CRB Group. While overseeing Regional Safety Managers, this role is responsible for setting long and short-term direction for EHS and is part of our senior leadership team.  Along with having responsibility for ensuring CRB is compliant with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, we'll expect you to provide direction and influence, further strengthening our commitment throughout the organization.

    The Vice President of EHS will have great latitude to influence the success of our EHS department. The Vice President of EHS will lead the EHS program for an organization that has an extremely strong growth forecast and is already recognized for it's safety performance. 

    The role is hands-on and requires current EHS leadership experience (policies and procedures, processes, system implementations, and compliance.)  and can be based anywhere in the continental United States, with up to 35% travel within North America.  The Vice President of EHS will lead the development and implementation of the overall strategic direction, compliance, and management of all EHS functions within the organization. Highly motivated hands-on executive with leadership experience is required. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with senior management to ensure organization’s EHS compliance throughout the organization.
    • Design and implement EHS programs
    • Manage emergency response incidents
    • Evaluate programs, issue recommendations and implement change
    • Responsible for the assisting the EHS Director with the execution of policies and procedures for CRB Group.
    • While overseeing Regional Safety Managers, the Vice President of EHS ensures that EHS guidelines are implemented at all offices and project sites across the country
    • Role reports all safety statistics directly to leadership, along with tracking and proposing corporate and site-specific safety KPI, and ensuring CRB is in compliance with all Federal, State, and local safety regulations
    • Travel responsibilities up to 35%
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, and/or Environmental (or similar) from an accredited college or university.
    • Minimum of Fifteen years of relevant work experience
    • Experience within a large-scale construction or construction management organization

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • ASP, CSP, CIH, CFPS or CHMM certification
    • Excellent tact and diplomacy in dealing with others and the ability to deal with all levels of management, from field to corporate levels
    • Ability to influence
    • Team player and self-starter
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strategic thinking abilities
    • Risk management background
    • Exceptional with mobile devices and mobile forms
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the flexibility to coordinate safety amongst a geographically diverse company

    The base salary pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is based in California or Colorado is typically $169,400 to $271,040 annually. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. The selected candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, including but not limited to work location, qualifications, and relevant experience. In addition, CRB offers a total rewards package that includes comprehensive insurance coverage as well as the opportunity to participate in one or more annual incentive programs based on company and individual performance.
