    Job Description

    As the REGIONAL ESTIMATING MANAGER, you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work.     HOW WILL I CONTRIBUTE?

    You will be responsible for managing all regional estimating personnel and implementation of all corporate systems, processes, and procedures. This includes management of the estimating workload for the regional team, and preparation of labor proposals for estimating services. You'll serve as a Lead Estimator on large or complex projects when needed, including quantification, pricing, reporting, and presentations. You will forge and maintain relationships with key regional trade partners, maintain regional historical data, produce conceptual estimates for CRB’s primary markets, and partner closely with our Corporate Estimating Manager.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage all regional estimating personnel and implementation of all corporate systems, processes, and procedures
    • Management of the estimating workload for the regional team, and preparation of labor proposals for estimating services
    • Responsible for quantification, pricing, reporting, and presentations
    • Function as a Discipline Estimator or Lead Estimator when workload requires
    • Maintain relationships with key regional trade partners
    • Maintain regional historical data and produce conceptual estimates for CRB’s primary markets
    • Communicate staffing and support needs to the Corporate Estimating Manager
    • Mentor and train staff
    • Review estimates for accuracy and quality
    • Coordinate with other Regional Estimators and Corporate Estimating Manger when developing estimates with support from other offices and regions

    OFFICE LOCATION: This position can be based out of any Western Region office, San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles, and Emeryville

    WORK MODE: Hybrid

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of twelve years of multi-discipline estimating experience or design-build lead estimating experience preferred
    • Knowledge of estimating practices and procedures including software input and data manipulation utilizing estimating software such as Timberline (Sage Estimating) and OnScreen Takeoff
    • Previous management experience with the following types of projects: Life Science Projects; Industrial Projects; Commercial Projects

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
    • Able to work effectively and make decisions under tight deadlines
    • Possess conceptual and detailed estimating skills
    • Understand project logistics and project schedules
    • Understand, contribute to, and/or develop Work Breakdown Structures required for project execution.
    • Able to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities and personnel across multiple offices to accomplish desired results
    • Understanding  of standard construction details and drawings
