  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Regional Procurement Manager will conduct analyses of market and delivery conditions. They will be required to determine present and future material and subcontractor availability. If needed, the investigation, analysis, and interview of potential suppliers and subcontractor to determine manufacturing limitations, facilities, equipment, quality standards and experience will be executed. The Regional Procurement Manager will manage the fulfillment of purchasing recommendations for project procurement as needed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform analysis of market and delivery conditions in order to determine present and future material and
    • Investigate, analyze, and interview potential suppliers and subcontractor to determine manufacturing limitations, facilities, equipment, quality standards and experience
    • Manage the fulfillment of purchasing task for project procurement
    • Develop procurement strategies, bid soliciting, contract awards and contract management
    • Maintain historical equipment procurement information so as to provide to the estimating department
    • Responsible for all procurement activities on given projects by overseeing equipment and subcontractor procurement activities and coordination with project teams and Corporate Procurement
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering, or relevant experience
    • Minimum of eight years of experience in subcontracting and equipment purchasing

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with online bidding systems is preferred, PMWeb and Building Connected a plus.
    • Ability to stay organized and prioritize is essential in this role.
    • Strong Excel and data entry skills.
    • Ability to develop relationships with key internal customers and suppliers
    • Possess a passion for quality, compliance and weighing risk
    • OSHA 30 certification
