    Job Description

    As a Process Utilities Intern at CRB , you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work. Experience collaboration and continuous learning like never before amongst subject matter experts spanning across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and automation engineering; architecture and lab planning; procurement, estimation, virtual design & construction, health & safety, and construction management.     How will I contribute?

    You will work under the direction of an assigned Process Utilities Engineer mentor to develop and implement project deliverables. Project sizes will vary, and will consist primarily of pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, or industrial projects including both existing building renovations/retrofits and new construction.

    Our Process Utility engineering team focuses on the design and engineering of “clean” utility systems (purified water and water for injection-WFI, clean steam, clean in place-CIP, sterilize in place-SIP) to support biopharmaceutical manufacturing and produce reports, specifications and drawings.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing project documents and deliverables such as:
      • Equipment and system sizing,
      • Component selection and specification,
      • Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
      • Equipment datasheets
      • Piping plans
      • Installation details
      • Schedules.
      • Plans
    • Assisting with the development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under the direction of the project manager
    • Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors).
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
    • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble), preferred but not expected
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote) preferred
