    Job Description

    As a REGIONAL VDC MANAGER, you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work.     HOW WILL I CONTRIBUTE?

    The Regional VDC Manager will oversee and support VDC functions for the region and coordinate with clients, trade partners and consultants on VDC standards. You will work closely with design and construction leads on internal VDC strategies and standardization. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide leadership and oversee all VDC functions within the region
    • Work with regional and project leadership to develop VDC strategies for the entire project lifecycle (proposals, project planning, quality, etc.)
    • Provide VDC resource planning and scheduling for all projects
    • Assist in development of BIM Execution Plan (BEP) strategies and lead client interaction with support from the project leadership and VDC Project Coordinator
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship for all VDC Staff within the region
    • Responsible for coordinating training, implementation, and support of all VDC tools and processes for all regional staff
    • Assist VDC project staff with team training and troubleshooting for VDC tools and processes
    • Ensure VDC project staff is coordinating VDC standards (CRB & Client) with the project team
    • Evaluate BIM modeling expertise within the project teams, including trade partners and external design partners
    • Evaluate and strengthen the VDC capabilities of strategic trade partners, vendors and sub consultants
    • Work closely with leadership (regional and corporate) on strategic initiatives and standardization for design and construction
    • Work with the Director of VDC Digital Content to provide strategic direction for all VDC content
    • Support the Director of Digital Delivery with testing, standardizing, and implementing cutting edge technology to improve our Digital Delivery process.
    • Collaborate within Project Delivery Services to develop roadmap and identify digital delivery initiatives
    • Participate in VDC related webinars and conferences to stay informed and share opportunities for technology innovation within the organization
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associates degree in Computer Aided Design, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of eight years of experience in an EPC firm setting or construction industry equivalency
    • 3 - 5 years of experience managing or leading a team preferred
    • Ability to travel to construction project sites and regional offices as required

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Advanced Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other design authoring platforms is required
    • Advanced knowledge of contractual delivery methods for design and construction projects
    • Experience with 3D collaboration processes and tools (BIM360/ACC suite, Assemble, clash tracking, laser scanning, iConstruct, model-based point layout)
    • Knowledge of supporting VDC productivity tools (Revit add-ins, Dynamo, Bluebeam, etc.)
    • Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D is preferred
    • Advanced knowledge of industry standard VDC documentation (BEP, BIMForum, etc.)
    • Industry VDC certification is preferred (Revit Certified Professional, CM-BIM, etc.)
    • Advanced proficiency in writing standards and guidelines.
    • Understanding of building design and construction sequencing
    • Experience facilitating spatial planning to develop discipline "Spatial Allocation Zones" for all MEP systems
    • Experience with providing clash reports and clash resolution guidance for the project team
    • Experience facilitating design/model coordination meetings with all disciplines and trade partners throughout the project lifecycle for all execution strategies (design, construction, and ONEsolution)
    • Demonstrates good organizational, communication, and leadership skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
