CRC Salomon is looking for talented, contract transcribers and proofreaders to join our national transcription division that is transcribing and proofreading government hearings and investigations.

Transcribers and proofreaders are compensated, bi-weekly, at very competitive rates. No caps on earning potential. Plenty of work is available. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Be flexible and willing to be part of a team
• Be a US citizen and presently live within the US*
• Ability to ensure all transcripts meet or surpass 98% transcribers accuracy
• Proofreaders must be able to ensure transcripts are 100% accurate
• Ability to adhere to formatting standards
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation
• Computer proficiency
• Must have a PC with Windows 7 or higher
• Microsoft Word
• Quality headphones
• Infinity USB-1 or USB-2 foot pedal
• Ability to commit to a minimum of ten hours per week
• Ability to type 60 WPM

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Experience with GAO or Chicago Style formatting guidelines
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Prior transcription or court reporting experience
• NCRA Certifications: CRR or RPR
• AAERT Certification: CET
• State Certification: CSR
• WPM of 70 or higher
