A well-capitalized commercial bank is in scale mode:
Deposits up 15% YoY
CRE team tasked with doubling production in the next 24 months
Immediate priority: adding proven revenue producers
This is not a backfill. This is a buildout.
The Role
This is a true origination seat.
The BDO will be the primary CRE producer is responsible for sourcing and closing low-leverage investor CRE transactions, primarily through the mortgage broker channel.
The right person is a hunter with a portable network — not a portfolio manager.
Target Deal Profile
The platform is highly disciplined credit-wise, but extremely competitive on pricing.
Transaction size: $2MM–$20MM
Average loan size: ~$10MM
Investor-owned, stabilized CRE (all major use types)
Max 50% LTV
Low-risk, low-leverage credit box
The bank competes on price, not structure.

Compensation
Base Salary + Uncapped commissions paid quarterly based on Effective Annual Production
Candidate Profile (Non-Negotiables)
We are targeting experienced CRE producers from sophisticated commercial banking environments.
Must have:
Proven production of $50MM+ annually (more is better)
Deep connectivity in the mortgage broker community
Experience sourcing investor CRE deals in the $5–25MM range
Ability to operate inside disciplined leverage constraints
Stable career history (no job-hopping patterns)
Background at a commercial bank with institutional CRE capability
