    Job Description

    The construction field assistant's role is to assist our fix and flip renovation team to take some of the basic day to day responsibilities off our project manager's plate so that they can be more involved in the construction part of the business.

    As part of our team, you will be a part of a fast-growing company that has already established itself as the leading fix and flip company in Massachusetts.

    COMPENSATION: $40,000 - $60,000 - based on experience

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist the Project Manager in project planning, which involves creating work schedules, updating project schedules, and awarding contracts.
    • Assist in the coordination of contractors and determining budgets while growing our contractor database.
    • Document project progress, notify PM of potential issues, and schedule difficulties. Assist in problem-solving.
    • Process day-to-day administrative items such as building plan distribution, material take-offs, material orders, loss prevention, stocking projects, etc.
    • Research property use, restrictions, and zoning for targeted projects. 
    • Perform additional assignments as directed.
    • Will require local field travel.
    • May assist the PM in supervising contractors.
    • Some physical labor may be necessary to ensure projects are safe and meeting expectations.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Basic knowledge of the construction industry is required.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
    • Strong computer skills.
    • Must be professional, and diplomatic.
    • Self-motivated.
    • Must possess a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
