    The EDI/cXML Integration Coordinator is responsible for managing electronic business transactions between customers, suppliers, and the company. The successful candidate will maintain trading partner data and necessary EDI/cXML related account information in the company’s ERP system, which is currently JD Edwards.  Additionally, the candidate will monitor backend systems to ensure transactions are being processed in a timely manner and defined Service Level Agreements are being met. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, communicating, and driving any EDI/cXML related issues to completion.  This will require understanding of the related systems and communicating with internal business teams, IT teams, and customers to resolve these issues. The candidate is responsible for creating and maintaining both EDI and cXML maps within the mapping tool and document translator.  This role will also be responsible to create and maintain documentation to support these responsibilities. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Working with trading partners to ensure mapping is correct
    • Ensuring that existing trading partners stay up to date with current release levels of transactions
    • Working with Client Services to identify new Trading Partners and act as the main point of contact for EDI/cXML questions
    • Supporting changes and enhancements to existing and new transaction types and promote the adoption of additional transactions were beneficial
    • Administering configuration changes, and enhancements to EDI/cXML maps and ERP system to support new and existing integrations
    • Coordinating with IT and 3rd party providers for all technical changes and testing/certification processes required to support the EDI/cXML system
    • Monitoring EDI/cXML related systems and processes to ensure successful transaction processing
    • Ensuring customer setup is complete
    • Ensuring transaction files are sent or processed in a timely manner
    • Exchanging information with customers/suppliers as needed
    • Tracking and addressing file transfer issues
    • Defining and following formal documented process for all mapping, testing and transaction implementations
    • Identifying and resolving all daily EDI/cXML related issues/failures
    • Ensuring issues are resolved and documented as needed
    • Documenting all requirements and processing options
    • Staying current with relevant e-commerce language and technology
    • Providing timely resolution to issues
    • Maintaining positive customer interaction
    • Ensuring accuracy of EDI/cXML processing
    • Exercising confidential discretion as position has access to all data files used in programs
    • Working independently but meets with department managers to review projects
    • Using sound analytical skills to diagnosis issue
    • Identifying solutions or enlisting correct team member to assist with solutions
    • Working on a combination of assigned and self-initiated projects, which may lead to finding ways to improve other parts of the system or solution
    • Making recommendations and acts on improving system operations, performance, and data integrity
    • Deciphering incomplete or vague requests/issues from the users and find resolution to their needs
    • Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks

    REQUIREMENTS 

    • High school diploma or G.E.D.
    • Two years of experience with EDI/cXML in a packaged ERP, JD Edwards preferred, solution environment
    • Understand all major EDI/cXML transactions used in a distribution setting
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Work with people in various departments and at all levels
    • Plan, prioritize, organize, and define objectives
    • Manage deadlines
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong problem-solving skills

    NICE TO HAVE 

    • Bachelor's degree in business, computer, or related major preferred
