Our client is a well-known, growing CPA firm located in Naples, Florida seeking to hire a motivated CPA - Tax Accountant to join their team to deliver high-quality tax services and offer personal attention to their portfolio of high net worth clients. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In-depth experience in taxation with emphasis on individual, trust, and partnership taxation
• Prepares and reviews federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Assists in providing holistic tax planning advice to ultra-high net worth individuals and their families
• Takes an interest in firm process and efficiency for optimizing workflow
• Ability to work with high net-worth individuals and their team of advisors
• Develop and nurture relationships with key business referral sources, including wealth management advisors, trust/estate attorneys, etc...
• Outstanding interpersonal skills fostering client and staff relationships
• Contributes to the team by producing high-quality work with quick turnaround and attentive service
• Establishes good working relationships with all staff
• Ability to explain complex tax topics in easy-to-understand language

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years public accounting experience in taxation
• Very proficient with personal and business tax returns
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Tax research proficiency
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
• Demonstrates initiative, commitment, creativity, and imagination in approaching work
• Enjoys working autonomously, is self-motivated, and is a team player
• Public accounting experience is a plus

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Tax Software experience; CCH Axcess or Prosystems experience a plus
• QuickBooks experience a plus

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors in Accounting or related field. Advanced (Masters) degree in taxation preferred.
• CPA license preferred

LOCATION:

• Naples, Florida... are you ready for paradise?

• Full-time or contract options

COMPENSATION:

• Excellent compensation and benefits package for full-time candidates
• $65,000 to $85,000 base plus straight overtime and bonus for full-time candidates. Compensation commensurate with experience.
• Contract option for remote location and ability to “make your own schedule” is available
