Job Description

We are a centrally located bookkeeping & consulting firm centrally working with multiple CPA firms and dozens of small businesses in the greater San Antonio area. We are hiring qualified bookkeepers to facilitate bookkeeping and other accounting tasks on a full-time basis.

Applicants should be comfortable managing multiple open projects. You should be service-minded and have a positive attitude, as this role may put you in front of clients. A strong work ethic and a desire to always learn more are among the best traits for this job.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Entering transactions into client Quickbooks files.

• Reconciling bank & credit card accounts.

• Identifying needed adjustments and posting journal entries.

• Tying balance sheets and building workpaper files.

Other duties:

• Preparation and filing of 1099s.

• Preparation and filing of Sales Tax.

• Processing client payroll.

• Other non-routine accounting & administrative tasks as directed.

Our ideal applicant:

• Is certified in, and very familiar with, Quickbooks Online.

• Is familiar with the process of tying a balance sheet.

• Has experience in public accounting or public bookkeeping.

• Can type at least 60 words per minutes.

• Is proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Starting pay ranged from $16.00/hour to $22.00/hour (plus bonuses) and is determined by current aptitude & experience.
