CRW & ASSOCIATES IS SEEKING A REMOTE MEDICAL CODER FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE WITH THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST have a Minimum 3 years recent outpatient coding experience
• Current coding experience of E/M services, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers & units of service
• Prior coding experience in a military treatment  facility (MTF) with a CAC card or Federal Security Clearance is a plus; or experience with MHS DoD coding
• Review & analyze medical data for coding accuracy & correct coding as necessary

Preferred Current Certifications REQUIRED (MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE):

• RHIA
• RHIT
• CCS
• CCS-P
• CPC or COC

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be US Citizen. 
• Army Federal Investigative Standards (FIS). In accordance with FIS, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) implemented Tier 1 background investigations and discontinued the National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) on 1 October 2014. A Tier 1 (T1) represents the type of background investigation to be conducted for this effort. A Tier 1 is required for each CSP to access the DoD computer network.
• Personnel performing work under this contract must at a minimum have a favorably adjudicated DOD Tier 1 background investigation prior to commencing work on the contract and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract. 
• Security personnel will use the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to verify investigations.
