Sugaright, a subsidiary of the company, is a major producer of liquid sugar in North America, with eight production and storage facilities. Sugaright uses innovative technology to produce tailor-made liquid sugar products for food and beverage companies in the USA and Mexico.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Trade Support and Specialist will be responsible for supporting the trading team and managing sugar inventories. The main responsibilities will include:

• Tracking and reconciliation of sugar inventories in leased and third-party warehouses
• Creating and filing commodity contracts
• Tracking import and export licenses
• Reconciling and allocating futures contracts between clearing houses
• Assisting in futures hedging for purchase and sale contracts
• Managing Re-Export license position, including tracking balances and payments with customers
• Assisting in month-end P/L calculations
• Reconciling and submitting brokerage payments
• Sustainability credit tracking

Prior experience in commodities is NOT required for this role. This role is not a track for a trading position and the ideal candidate will enjoy being an expert at their responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn on the job. A college degree is not required for this role, however experience in Accounting, Inventory Management, and Trade Support will be valued. The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Excel.
