Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive emissions testing on a variety of vehicles to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot emissions-related issues.
Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records of inspections.
Provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance to improve vehicle emissions performance.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and required actions.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to emissions testing.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient testing environment.
Assist in training new staff on emissions testing procedures and equipment usage.
Requirements:
Valid CST certification and experience in emissions testing.
Strong understanding of vehicle emissions systems and environmental regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards in all testing procedures.
