Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with state regulations.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, exposure settings, and radiation safety protocols.
• Assess patient conditions and adjust imaging procedures as needed for optimal diagnostic results.
• Prepare and operate CT equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
• Evaluate lab values before administering contrast media and identify contraindications.
• Monitor patients during procedures, documenting any reactions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications Required

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Licensure: * Current CT registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) * Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certifications: * Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association * CT certification (must be obtained within one year of hire)
• Work Requirements: * Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and communicate effectively. * Capability to lift/move patients and equipment over 300 lbs with assistance. * Ability to work in an environment with exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and radiation.
