    Pay: $65 -$70 PER HOUR

    Job Summary:

    The CT Technologist performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols. The technologist ensures high-quality images, prioritizes patient safety, and maintains compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards. This is a per diem, day/night time position with flexible scheduling based on departmental needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform CT imaging procedures using proper technique and patient positioning.

    Verify patient identification and physician orders prior to exam.

    Prepare and administer contrast materials safely and effectively under supervision and per protocol.

    Monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety.

    Evaluate images for technical quality and submit for interpretation.

    Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation in PACS/RIS systems.

    Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.

    Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.

    Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions promptly.

    Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

    Certification/Licensure:

    ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred

    Current BLS certification (AHA) required.

    State license

    Experience:

    Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred.
