A leading Westchester hospital is seeking an experienced and patient-focused **CT Technologist** to join its advanced Imaging Services team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for examinations
- Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure a positive patient experience
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining established imaging standards
- Administer and monitor imaging protocols in accordance with department guidelines
- Assist radiologists and physicians during specialized procedures as needed
- Process images and prepare CDs when required
- Maintain accurate patient documentation within EPIC, RIS, and PACS systems
- Perform quality assurance testing, equipment calibrations, and ACR compliance activities
- Monitor equipment performance and report any operational concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment
- Support patient populations across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and training programs
- Serve as a preceptor or instructor for students and new staff when assigned
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License or Limited Permit
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Documented training and experience operating CT imaging equipment
- Knowledge of radiation physics, radiation safety, and dose reduction techniques
- New York State IV Certification
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Salary and Bonus
- $52.00 - $63.00 + Shift Differential
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
