Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a high-volume acute care imaging department in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

This role requires independent clinical judgment and technical expertise in performing CT procedures across a broad patient population, from neonates to geriatric patients. The CT Tech works under the direction of a Radiologist and is responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general radiology procedures according to physician orders.

• Operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.

• Apply ionizing radiation in accordance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.

• Ensure proper patient positioning and image acquisition quality.

• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to clinical changes.

• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records.

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support diagnostic accuracy.

• Adhere to quality control, safety, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.

• BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire).

Preferred

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) registry.

• Acute care CT experience (required for FSED assignments).

• Strong technical and patient communication skills.
