Job Description
_ A Day in the Life_
CT technologist functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The CT technologist role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medical CT imaging services and its various clinical specialties. The CT technologist activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards.
Perform High-Quality CT Imaging: Conduct CT exams, vascular studies, and assist with sterile procedures; follow radiologist protocols, apply ALARA/Image Gently principles, and ensure accurate documentation, image transfer, and use of RadNet/PACS.
Ensure Patient Care & Safety: Provide professional, compassionate patient interaction; maintain safe work practices; respond decisively in emergencies; prepare/administer contrast per policy; and uphold patient confidentiality.
Maintain Workflow & Professional Standards: Prioritize and organize workload independently, manage patient flow, keep exam rooms clean and stocked, handle equipment responsibly, and adhere to hospital dress code and conduct expectations.
Demonstrate Technical Expertise & Problem-Solving: Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, scanner functions, protocols, and injector usage; troubleshoot equipment needs; and ensure quality control of all scans.

Qualifications
_ What’s Required_
Must have passed the examination for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy and remain in good standing with ARRT CE requirements or provide Certification from an International Credentialing agency. One (1) year prior CT experience. Must meet/demonstrate MHC CT competencies.
All non-registered new employees must pass the certification for CT within two years of hire date.
BLS certification with biannual renewal.
(This position performs some x-ray exams)

Schedule: Full-time, benefitted position, works a flex schedule 16-40 hours per week.
