Overview
ACI Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. You will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This position requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Performs imaging exams and procedures accurately. Applies critical thinking skills appropriately.
- Recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.
- Maintains accurate customer medical records.
- Ensures confidentiality of all medical records.
- Utilizes Imaging and hospital computer systems correctly.
- Interacts with physicians, team members, customers, and families in professional manner.
- Has access to medications appropriate to their job duties.
- Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
- The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
- The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology - Required
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 2+ Years Prior CT Technologist Experience - Required.
- Must have good cross-sectional anatomy skills - Required
Licensure and Certification:
- ARRT Registered CT Technologist - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
