The CT/Xray Technologist provides computed tomography imaging and diagnostic imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Full Time weekdays from Monday to Friday 8am-4pm performing CT and X-Ray

Responsibilities:

• Reviews patient history, physician's orders and does scheduling. Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
• Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including re-positioning patients and repeating procedures. Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
• Within the scope of the job, it requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum Experience: One year experience.

Pay range for this position is: $35.00 - $40.00/ hour. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience. A monthly bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
