Job Description

THE POSITION

The focus of this position will be to apply accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting records. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as part of the team that ensures accurate and complete financial information is recorded. This is a part-time position working approximately 30 hours per week. Potential duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare & finalize payroll for approval
• Calculate, post and verify financial data for use in maintaining accounting records
• Performs complex clerical and entry level accounting activities
• Receives and counts cash; maintains control records
• Prepares and posts accounting documents
• Wire transfers - prepare documents for approval & maintain records
• Files and maintains clerical records and reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma plus 0-3 months related experience/training
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts & percentages
• Knowledge of NetSuite & Excel a plus
• Strong organization skills, detail oriented
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling all information
• Strong commitment to work in a team environment
