  • Responsibilities

    CTDI is a large scale logistics repair and engineering company that services the country’s largest telecommunications and cable providers.  CTDI has over 7,000 FT US Employees in over 50 world class US Operations. CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 14,000 employees worldwide. 

    Responsible for auditing, inspecting, and testing of equipment being refurbed, kitted, shipped, or repaired at the branch. Quality Inspectors will interact with line management to alert them of any deficiencies and document them accordingly.  

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Able to read and understand quality specifications to ensure product/kits meet customer requirements.
    • Inspects and approves incoming/outgoing parts/materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and other tests, and rejecting units that do not meet the customer’s acceptable criteria.
    • Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual inspection and its able to communicate with production supervisor/section head when deficiencies are found.
    • Conducts out of box audits, conducting visual inspection, kit configuration and its able to properly quarantine and report defective units within a pallet.
    • Monitors production operations to ensure conformance to company and client specifications.
    • Communicates the results of inspections and puts forward corrective suggestions, as needed.
    • Documents inspection results by completing records, logs, and inputs data in the quality databases.
    • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standard and procedures.
    • Support safety processes, requirements, and culture. Investigate, monitor, document 5S housekeeping issues.
    • Perform 5S housekeeping audits and reports.
    • Support the ISO/9001-2015 & TL-9000 V R6.1/R5.5 certification process and maintaining Quality System
    • Other duties as assigned

     

     

     

     

     

     

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a quality related role.

    • Basic Math, computer, documentation skills.

    • Experience with ISO/9001-2015 & TL-9000 V R6.1/R5.5 a plus.

    • Previous experience auditing processes and reporting deficiencies a plus.

    • Must be organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, and self-motivated.

    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to changing environment

    • Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 lbs.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills including presenting to a group.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
