  • Responsibilities

    Summary:

    The Linux Systems Engineer shall be responsible for installing, updating, patching, removing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all existing and future installations Red Hat Linux servers..

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for administration of the existing and future installations of Red Hat Linux computing environment to include but not limited to:

    • Installations
    • Updates
    • Patches
    • Removing
    • Troubleshooting
    • Repair
    • Maintenance

    Persons in this position will also be responsible for backup and recovery functions.

    Required Skills

    Education and Experience:

    • Must maintain a current Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) OR Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.

    • Experience with Linux on a virtualized platform (Nutanix, VMWare or Microsoft HyperV) IS PREFERRED.
