    HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

    In this role you will provide strategic and hands-on support that provides full cycle HR support to assigned branches to support CTDI initiatives. The role is critical in executing CTDI people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, driving HR functional excellence, and process improvement for a multi-site region. The HR Manager will also assist in the development of companywide HR policies, procedures, systems and HR initiatives.

    • Takes and lead and Investigates employee relations issues, complaints, and conflicts in the workplace including appropriate documentation and follow-up. Provides guidance to employees. Makes recommendations for resolution to supervisors and individuals.
    • Takes the lead in all investigations and provides guidance for disciplinary actions
    • Counsel and support Managers on performance issues and recommend strategies for employee development
    • Jointly with Employee Relations Manager, prepares employee separation documentation and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
    • Ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource
    • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for company employees; assist in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures
    • Participates in the on-boarding of new employees by conducting New Employee Orientation onsite or via teleconference
    • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
    • Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
    • Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources.
    • Addresses and responds to employee Payroll, HRIS, Compensation and Benefits issues in conjunction with the HR Administration team.
    • Partners with the Corporate Talent Team to identify all direct hire, temp to hire, and internal job postings. Creates requisitions and assists in the coordination of the interview process, as needed, with the Corp Talent Team and the on-site hiring managers. Works with the Talent Team to coordinate all internal promotional offers.
    • Partners with the business to identify and report on temporary associate orders and/or issues, manage the relationships with onsite staffing vendors, and make recommendations on any new vendor business.
    • Identifies training needs such as leadership, safety, employee relations, co-employment, sexual harassment, etc. at assigned Branches and partners with Corporate Talent Team and/or Training Manager to develop and facilitate programs to address such needs.

     

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
    • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in a multi-state, multi-site organization; 3 years in a supervisory role
    • Experience with Kronos and Ulti Pro is strongly preferred
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the organization

     

    TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Ability to work under pressure both independently and within a team-oriented environment
    • Strong working knowledge of stage and federal HR laws
    • Problem resolution experience
    • Proficient skills using MS Office with strong experience using Excel and Access

    • Completes work accurately and in a timely manner
