    ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST (SR.) TASK AREA 4 - ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT (MARINE CORPS CYBERSPACE WARFARE GROUP (MCCYWG))

    JOB TASKS

    • Supports all MCCYWG Cyber Teams which consists of approximately 30 staff members, on each of the ten (10) teams. On average, four (4) teams simultaneously requiring support on active missions.
    • Maintains, updates, make changes, and promulgate record of changes, procedures, quality assurance and quality control for the Cyber Workforce Development Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Participate in Cyber workforce presentations and briefings to key staff members, as required.
    • Review all new requests for leadership training and development, process the required documentation through the required staff and outside agencies, and follow through training completion to submit certificate to HROM for filing.
    • Monitor and ensure participants complete and maintain program requirements per proposed program guidelines.
    • Report on program effectiveness through monitoring, evaluating, and analyzing courses, program participation, and marketing initiatives.
    • Shall mentor, make recommendations and course adjustments, as needed.
    • Assesses leadership development needs of employees.
    • Advise on developmental activities to build and enhance leadership competencies, assists in goal setting and maintain program records.
    • Prepare and deliver training presentations, briefings, reports, recommendations, and action plans to subject-matter experts.
    • Develop workforce development support power point slides, class exercises, examples and other documentation as needed.
    • Develop civilian leadership development training materials, PowerPoint slides, class exercises, examples, and other documentation as needed.
    • Perform all contract requirements ensuring effective and efficient tracking and processing of electronic data recovery requests and other administrative tasks as assigned.
    • Keep meeting minutes to include, agenda, attendees, what transpired at the meeting, and issues to be discussed at the next meeting.
    • Provide administrative information management services that allow for timely and efficient processing of administrative tasks, enabling the Staff Judge Advocate, G-1, and the MARFORCYBER Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program to meet their regulatory requirements and any other requests from higher-level authorities.
    • Perform administrative tasks and track assignments, as assigned by the SJA/G-1.
    • Maintain the document control and retention process in the office of the SJA/G-1 in accordance with applicable regulations.
    • Monitor electronic data recovery requests to ensure effective and efficient processing according to established timelines.
    • Create a weekly report tracking electronic data requests and other administrative information management reports as requested.
    • Review the current Government Travel Card Program (GTCP) for compliance with any and all applicable regulations.
    • Document the GTCP policies and procedures of MCCYWG and maintain, update, make changes, and promulgate the GTCP SOP.
    • Review all new account requests for agreement compliance prior to Government approval.
    • Develop training on the use of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Government Travel Cards, to include PowerPoint slides, class exercises, examples, and other documentation for approval.
    • Coordinate finance and human resources information with assimilation in DTS.
    • Provide input and analysis for future enhancements of the DTS workflow.
    • Provide Defense Travel Administer (DTA) augmentation for DTS and review all Authorizations, Vouchers, and Local Vouchers for accuracy and forward for approval.

     

    Required Skills

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree in position tasks areas and 3 years of Administrative or HR experience; or a master's degree of Business Administration or Business Management; or seven years of experience in a fast-paced, progressive environment where Administrative skills/effectiveness is integral; or any similar combination of education and experience.
    • Proficiently use and be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook to create documents necessary for administrative support.
    • Skillfully use and integrate a variety of government systems and unit information systems to effectively manage assigned MCCYWG information requirements.
    • Knowledge of analytical, qualitative and quantitative techniques sufficient to identify, evaluate, and recommend changes which could affect processes, developmental activities and other position requirements.

     

    Required Experience

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Pursuant to a Government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
    • Must have a Top Secret/SCI Clearance and CI polygraph.
    • Must have the skills needed to expertly use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint to execute required tasks/work assignments.
    • Must be familiar with the principles and proper management of Privacy Act of 1974, FOUO, and OPSEC information.
