    CTDI is having a DIRECT HIRE EVENT ON TUESDAY, APRIL 2ND FROM 9:00-2:00 AND 4:00-8:00 at our Elgin, IL facility. We are looking for experienced and hands-on ASSEMBLY TECHNICIANS, REPAIR TECHNICIANS & PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS for all shifts.

      REPAIR TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION  

    • Test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components.
    • Maintain a clean, organized work station.
    • Maintains satisfactory Quality performance levels.
    • Read and work from electronic component schematics.
    • Troubleshoot to the component level.

    Required Skills

    • Possess soldering and de-soldering skills.

    • Knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.

    • Can identify electronic PCB components.

     

    ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

     

    • Perform diagnostic test on unit to identify if it is a working unit.

    •  Disassemble unit down to board level using small tools (screwdrivers, drills, etc).

    • Screen and troubleshoot based on diagnostic test response, and replace defective pieces of unit.

    • Reassemble unit by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies.

    • Upgrade software and test units.

    • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.

    • Maintain high Quality performance levels.

    • Capabilities to use small tools

    • Ability to work independently
    • Previous experience working with small components preferred

     

    PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION

     

    CTDI is seeking an individual who has stellar leadership capabilities to fill our open Production Supervisor position. This operations team member will oversee their designated area and be responsible to the production as laid out by management staff. They will be asked to be responsible for the following (but not limited to):

    • Supervise production and technical activity of production lines.
    • Monitor departmental performance metrics to insure production requirements are met.
    • Provide first level of support for any escalated issue during work shift.
    • Train, motivate, and support staff in all areas of company and departmental procedures and expectations.
    • Coach and council employees on performance deficiencies and document as required as well provide positive reinforcement and encouragement when performance is on target.
    • Complete employee attendance and payroll requirements.
    • Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required.

     Required Experience

    • 5+ years leadership experience required, preferably in a high volume production environment.
    • Technical degree or certification preferred.
