    This position is a key management role in CTDI’s fast growing Mobile and Consumer Electronics division responsible for managing one of CTDI’s primary customers.  This individual will be responsible for managing an engineering team developing and driving technical innovation for the business. This individual will be the technical interface to CTDI’s customer and ensure the engineering team delivers industry leading test solutions to support the CTDI’s operation. This individual should be a highly motivated, quick learner who enjoys a hands-on, high-speed work environment. Specifically, the responsibilities of this position include:

    • Project planning for various development projects.
    • Manage team of 5-10 engineers.
    • Identify opportunities of innovation and lead a team of engineers to implement new solutions.
    • Primary technical interface to customer.
    • Optimize test systems and test/repair processes in an operation.
    • Establish preventative maintenance schedules for engineers.
    • Utilize KPIs to monitor the performance of test systems.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Strong leadership and organizational skills

    • Clear discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    Required Experience

    • 2+ years of engineering management experience preferred.
    • B.S. Degree in Engineering a related field of science.
    • Exposure to Mobility Products/Mobile Device handling, testing, refurbishment, and similar sustaining platforms, would be a big plus.
    • Telecommunications or consumer electronics industry experience preferred.
    • Programming experience or general programming knowledge preferred
