JMT is seeking a motivated individual who desires increasing responsibilities in designing commercial, military, and general aviation design tasks and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical civil aviation design support, drafting, cost estimate quantity take-offs, and general project support for heavy civil construction design. The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable aviation civil engineer with design experience, construction knowledge, and project management skills.
Successful candidate will be expected to effectively implement design standards put forth by the Federal Aviation Administration, design and draft in AutoCAD software, work on a team to develop Construction Documents, and be proficient in basic Microsoft programs. Work assignments may include, but are not limited to, drafting, basic airfield civil engineering design, cost estimating and quantity take-offs, report production, and drawing reviews.
Assignments will be performed through a working knowledge of application design criteria, regulatory requirements, and standards and processes. The candidate will be expected to manage multiple design tasks as directed by Task and Project Managers.

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
