    CTDI is looking for an Entry level Electrical Engineer to join our corporate Engineering team and will work as part of a dynamic team of Mechanical, Software, and Robotics Engineers, in a fast paced environment with an ever changing set of businesses and facilities to support. This position will be responsible for the designing of testing for back-haul data equipment (Cisco, Dell, Juniper) as well as Server Test Development.  The selected candidate will develop industry leading automated test systems for Motherboards, Servers, and Backhaul Switches (100G). The ideal candidate will have JTAG experience. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Develop automated test and repair capabilities
    • Analyze technical requirements and effort associated with test systems and products.
    • Generate engineering documents, including schematics, diagnostics, flowcharts, and project status reports.
    • Build, test, debug and develop C#, JTAG, CLI or LINUX applications.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Clear, discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
    • Understanding of motherboard architecture
    • Understanding of analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.
    • Understanding of audio, video, and RF circuits.
    • Ability to troubleshoot circuits to the component level.
    • Ability to create/analyze detailed technical documentation.
    • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
    • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • The ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Ability to interact professionally with the customer in written and verbal communications.

    Required Experience

    • B.S. in Engineering, or other technical discipline.
    • 0-2 years’ experience in Test Engineering.
    • Telecommunications technical experience and overall understanding
    • Proficiency in MSOffice (Word, Excel, Access, and Project), report preparation, and data analysis
    • Experience with Dell/Cisco/Ciena equipment.
    • Experience in developing test instructions and procedures
    • Clear, discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
    • Understanding of analog, digital and microprocessor circuits.
    • Understanding of audio, video and RF circuits
    • Working knowledge of C, C++ and LINUX.
    • Knowledge of Cable TV (CATV) technology is a plus.
    • Knowledge of LEAN is helpful.
