    CTDI is looking for Full Time Electronic Repair Technicians (Tech A, Tech B) for all three shifts, for the expansion of one of our customers.

    While working at our facility you will have the opportunity to become an IPC certified technician. We offer training and testing for IPC certifications at our facility!     You will be working on cutting edge technology for a telecommunications infrastructure for a worldwide leader in technology development. You will be responsible for performing functions associated with testing, repair and troubleshooting operations. Performing rework and quality testing of customer units to the component level. Other responsibilities will include:

    • Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic components.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving more complex technical issues.
    • Must be able to meet schedules and work well in a team environment.
    • Maintains satisfactory Quality performance levels.
    • Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
    • Trains and/or assists other Technicians in aspects of repair (if experienced).
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

    Required Skills

    • Excellent component level troubleshooting skills as well as digital circuitry troubleshooting skills.
    • Knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.
    • Ability to read and work from schematics.
    • Desire work on a variety of devices.
    • Edge Computing
    • Ability to build computers
    • Soldering Skills are encouraged, but not essential.

    Required Experience

    • Electronics Certification.
    • 2 or more years of direct experience with component level repair, analog and digital circuits, as well as working on a variety of different electronics.
    • If you hold one of our two requirements; a degree but no experience or experience but no certifications, we will certainly consider bringing you in for a technical test to see your abilities.
    • Experience with operation of electronic repair test equipment (Multimeter, LCR meter, spectrum analyzer and oscilloscope).
    • Experience using hand tools (soldering irons, test fixtures, heat gun).
    • Troubleshooting down to the component level.
