Become an Official for Girls Lacrosse
STAY FIT. EARN MONEY. BE PART OF A TEAM. Central Texas Women's Lacrosse Officials Organization (CTWLOO) is looking for new officials to join us on the lacrosse field. No Lacrosse Experience or Knowledge is Needed. We provide training! The Benefits of Being a Girl's Lacrosse Official: - Make money - Get a great workout (without focusing on the working out part) - Get outside - Be part of a team and a growing sport - Flexible schedule - Continuously challenge yourself to improve and advance The season runs from February through May. Games occur on evenings and weekends. You choose which days and times you can work. Pay starts at $60 per Youth game and $65 per JV game for Level 1 officials, and can go up with higher levels of play and official's rating level. There are some start-up costs to be aware of: US Lacrosse membership $55, local board fee $35, and equipment (zebra shirt, black shorts/skirt). CTWLOO provides new officials with cards, flag, coin and whistle. CTWLOO is also able to help cover membership costs for the first year if they are a barrier to you joining us. Between now and February teams have occasional tournaments and scrimmages to get their teams ready. Similarly, we are using this time to recruit and train new officials. Training involves a mix of online classes, live zoom sessions with local officials and field time with local officials and teams.
