POSITION OVERVIEW

A Benefits Account Manager is responsible for assisting brokers and other account managers with maintaining existing business & implementing new business. The position requires relationship building and problem-solving skills in order to strategically identify and apply various systems and processes to meet specific client needs.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist brokers with new business implementation
• Assist brokers with renewal management
• Day-to-day account management - new hires, terminations, etc.
• Employee education and claims assistance - Employee Advocacy
• Assist in managing electronic onboarding system used by employees and employers
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the market, carriers and products
• Assist brokers and other account managers as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school or equivalent
• Must have proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software systems
• AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT AND/OR CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong desire for continued growth and learning
• Life & Health licensed in the State of Utah

"WOULD BE NICE" QUALIFICATIONS

• Bi-lingual in Spanish/English
• Knowledge of Employee Navigator

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $50k-$65k salary BOE
• Hiring bonus up to $10k BOE
