About the Role:

New York Bagel & Bialy Corporation is looking for an energetic and friendly Customer Service/Sandwich Maker to join our team in Lincolnwood, IL! If you love great food, fast-paced environments, and making customers smile, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner at the counter

Take and process customer orders accurately, both in-person and over the phone

Prepare fresh sandwiches, bagels, and other menu items to order

Slice, toast, and assemble ingredients following menu specifications and food safety standards

Handle cash register transactions and process payments efficiently

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace throughout the shift

Restock food prep stations and supplies as needed

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure fast, quality service during peak hours

$17.00 per hour plus tips (negotiable based on experience)

Requirements:

Previous customer service or food service experience preferred but not required

Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Basic food handling knowledge; food handler certification a plus

Ability to stand for extended periods

Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
