    Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility in Northville, MI. The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician ensures the efficient operation of all machinery and mechanical equipment. The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician are to perform facilities maintenance and other assigned responsibilities that are critical to maintaining production operations, product quality and equipment safety.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and implement preventive maintenance plans for manufacturing equipment
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
    • Demonstrate proficiency in electrical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues
    • Utilize experience in a manufacturing environment to maintain and repair production machinery
    • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently
    • Apply knowledge of GD&T to ensure precision in manufacturing processes
    • Utilize hydraulics experience to maintain hydraulic systems
    • Demonstrate mechanical assembly skills to assemble and disassemble machinery
    • Utilize mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair mechanical issues

    Skills & Abilities

    • Capability of independently performing various preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and related activities per requirements
    • Ability to prioritize work schedules to execute in order of importance
    • Ability to navigate through a tablet and proficiency with MS Office programs

    Education & Experience

    • High School/GED or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
    • Associate degree in a related field or the completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred
    • Journeyman preferred
    • Welding and fabricating experience strongly preferred
    • 3 years of progressive experience in a related field strongly preferred
    • Proven experience in creating preventive maintenance plans
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
    • Demonstrated electrical troubleshooting skills
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Forklift licensed
    • Knowledge of GD&T
    • Experience with hydraulics
    • Mechanical assembly skills
    • Mechanical troubleshooting skills

    You should be proficient in:
