We are currently seeking a Construction Wireman Level 1 (CW1) – Field Support Technician for a client within the electrical construction / data center infrastructure industry.

Position Overview

The Construction Wireman Level 1 (CW1) – Field Support Technician is an entry-level, hands-on role supporting electrical and infrastructure installation projects in a fast-paced data center construction environment. This position works alongside experienced crews to assist with cable pulling, equipment setup, rack and stack activities, and general job site support while gaining valuable exposure to the electrical and mission-critical construction trades. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and motivated to build a long-term career in construction, electrical work, or data center operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist field crews with cable pulling, installation support, and general construction labor on active job sites
• Help set equipment, organize materials, and support rack and stack and infrastructure buildout activities
• Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under the supervision of experienced team members
• Follow OSHA, NEC, and site-specific safety standards, including proper use of PPE at all times
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in active construction and mission-critical environments
• Support labeling, installation accuracy, and quality control processes to ensure work is completed correctly
• Report hazards, safety concerns, or job site issues immediately to supervisors or site leadership

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to perform physical labor in a construction, electrical, or data center environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform extended standing, walking, bending, and ladder climbing as needed
• Ability to follow instructions, work under supervision, and contribute effectively on active job sites
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic in fast-paced field environments
• Previous experience in construction, electrical work, low-voltage installation, or data center operations preferred
• OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain; reliable transportation to travel to project sites preferred

Compensation:

• Compensation is administered through the local union and may include additional union wages, benefits, and applicable terms based on the collective bargaining agreement
