Job Description

Our firm is looking for a detail-oriented tax professional to join our team. The position includes income tax preparation and review, accounting and bookkeeping services, tax projections, tax notice resolution and client communication.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Active CA Certified Public Accountant license or Enrolled Agent license
• 10+ years of tax preparation and review experience for individuals, businesses and trusts
• 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• 3+ years of Quickbooks experience 
• Knowledge of Lacerte Tax Software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Clear communication skills
• Excellent client service skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and review simple to complex income tax returns for individuals, businesses and trusts
• Perform quarterly and annual bookkeeping for small businesses
• Review and respond to tax notices on the taxpayer's behalf
• Prepare tax projections for individuals and businesses
• Client communication regarding tax matters
