    We are seeking a motivated Recruiter to join out Recruiting Department. The Recruiter’s main responsibility will be to recruit CDL drivers to cover our available routes. A successful recruiter will have a customer service and sales mentality and operate with a sense of urgency to cover our lanes while balancing our core value of driver safety. The recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and be proactive. 1-3 years’ experience in sales, debt collecting, customer service, trucking, marketing, and/or recruiting is highly preferred. The recruiter must be able to troubleshoot problems independently yet have effective communication to work in a team environment.

    The position will work Monday through Friday (days) on-site in an office. Remote work is not available for this position.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS TRAITS

    • Communicate with potential drivers over the phone and email.
    • Assist potential drivers with applications and leasing paperwork.
    • Provide analytical recruiting reports to upper management.
    • Act as a point of contact to interested drivers and owners.
    • Have a "salesperson" mentality and attitude.
    • Generate interest via marketing and inbound/ outbound calls to attract drivers and truck owners
    • Willing to research driver market and offer innovative solutions to build applicant sources
    • Successfully follow up with interested applicants.
    • Other regular office duties required.
    • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be able to multi-task.
    • Must communicate effectively between numerous departments.
    • Applicant must be comfortable navigating Microsoft Outlook.
    • Basic computer skills required.
    • A working knowledge or intermediate knowledge of excel required.
    • Must be able to type.
    • Must be willing to learn new computer systems.
    • Ability to understand how truck routes work.

    Employees are eligible for medical benefits after 90 days, and retirement plan options after a year of employment. Vacation time eligibility begins after a year of employment. Position is paid weekly.
