    POSITION PURPOSE

    The Furniture Specialist primary purpose is to safely and efficiently deliver, pick up, and install housewares and furniture within CWS standards and procedures.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Perform the delivery, pick up, and installation of furniture and housewares.

    Perform housekeeping duties which include reset/turn cleans, touch up cleans, and maid services as needed.

    Pull, inspect, and load/unload furniture and housewares on/off company vehicles.

    Product care including cleaning housewares, washing linens, and troubleshooting electronics.

    Follow bed bug protocol and procedures.

    Time management: Perform and complete work orders within CWS standards and procedures while using the company’s mobile field service/ERP system.

    Vehicle management: Inspect assigned vehicle daily before and after usage, maintain vehicle log, and report any problems to the operations manager. Operate all company vehicles in a professional, safe, and courteous manner including utilizing team members to spot when driving the box truck in reverse and parking. Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.

    Inventory management: Maintain furniture, housewares, tooling, and moving equipment inventory and report to the supervisor of any supply requirements to perform daily tasks. Pack housewares kits as needed. Report to the supervisor of any damaged inventory discovered while performing a service such as during a reset/turn clean, maid service, or delivery/pick-up.

    Warehouse management: Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse including furniture, housewares, and equipment.

    Furniture Repair/Cleaning: Evaluate damages and select appropriate methods of repair and/or restoration for furniture. Cleaning of furniture per procedures. Assemble/disassemble furniture as needed.

    Adhere to all standard operating procedures and ensure daily/weekly/monthly performance levels are achieved.

    Travel to CWS business regions to complete job related tasks as needed including overnight stays.

    Support and uphold company mission, vision, and values.

    Maintain confidentiality of Home Services proprietary information, as applicable.

    Abide by company policies, procedures, practices, and applicable state and federal law.

    Abide by safety policies and procedures and bring any unsafe working conditions to the attention of management immediately.

    Maintain a professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance, at all times while representing CWS Corporate Leasing, LLC, especially while interacting with colleagues, customers, residents and guests.

    Promote positive teamwork and communications with team members and clients by maintaining, interacting, and cooperating with other team members in a tactful manner, providing constructive feedback and positive solutions to problems, be open and receptive to constructive criticism and feedback, and seeking ways to offer assistance to fellow coworkers.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Comfortable working with hands and displays an aptitude for craftsmanship, artistic and/or carpentry services

    HOURS WORKED: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm; variable work hours and overtime may be required occasionally at the discretion of the supervisor

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    This job operates in a warehouse and apartment community work environment. This role routinely uses household cleaning supplies and may be exposed to dust, fumes, and gases prevalent in apartment communities.     QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Certification:

    High School Diploma or GED

    Requirement:

    Ability to pass a background, drug, driving record check and physical evaluation; ability to learn and use basic technology skills for communication

    Experience Required:

    At least 1 years of customer service experience required; industry experience is highly preferred. At least 1 years of furniture moving experience.
