We’re currently expanding our team and looking for a skilled Solar Site Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in the preliminary stages of our solar installation projects, involving on-site evaluations and data collection.

Position Summary:

As a Solar Site Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough site surveys, which include measuring and assessing potential solar installation sites, primarily residential properties.

Your duties will involve climbing onto roofs to gather accurate measurements, taking comprehensive photos of the property, and inspecting the main service electrical panel. The information you gather will be critical in designing effective solar power systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed site surveys, including roof measurements and property assessment.

Take high-quality photos of the site, including specific focus on the roof, surrounding area, and main electrical panel.

Safely open and inspect the main service panel to evaluate the electrical system.

Submit all collected data and photos in a timely and organized manner.

Drive throughout San Diego County, North County, and areas as far as Temecula for site surveys. Requirements:

Proven experience in data entry and comfortable working at heights. • Ability to safely climb onto roofs and perform measurements accurately.

Knowledge of basic electrical systems and comfort in opening and inspecting main service panels.

Reliable transportation capable of carrying necessary equipment (A reliable vehicle is required).

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to submit reports promptly.

Must be willing to travel throughout the assigned region. Compensation:

For site surveys within a 60-mile radius of our office, the compensation is $100 per site.

For site surveys beyond a 60-mile radius, compensation will be $0.40 per mile or a flat rate of $175, depending on the distance and discretion of the management.
