THE POSITION

Caban Systems seeks a reliable part-time janitor to provide janitorial services to two separate locations in Burlingame, CA. The janitor is responsible for cleaning a commercial manufacturing facility, including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, scrubbing/waxing floors, vacuuming/shampooing carpet and floors, removing trash and other refuse, dusting and/or high dusting of fixtures, equipment, cleaning restrooms, cleaning breakroom and maintaining supplies. The essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by requirements and business needs.

The position is for approximately 20-25 hours a week. The pay range is $14-$15 an hour. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Total cleaning of manufacturing facility & offices:

• Floor care: May include use of dust mops, wet mops, vacuums, buffers, spot and spillage removal.
• Miscellaneous: May involve dusting screens, cleaning of TVs, desks, etc.

B. Total cleaning of restrooms:

• Cleans toilet bowls, sinks, showers; spot-washes walls and partitions, polishes chrome fixtures, mirrors, and utensil rack; cleans floor, changes cubical curtains.
• Replenishes restroom supplies, paper towels, and soap.

C. Other related duties:

• Total cleaning of breakroom and kitchen, including mopping, light dishes, exterior surfaces.
• Daily cleaning: dust-mopping floors, trash removal, total restroom cleaning, etc.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of related janitorial service
• Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• CADL - California Drivers License - Valid And In State
