This position will be responsible for assisting in all areas of customer service at the Cabana Pool. The Café Attendant is involved in most aspects of day to day operations, such as sales and cash handling, while maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Take orders from customers
Restock supplies
Maintain clean and orderly cash station area
Accept payments and issue receipts
Participate in employee meetings, review, and development
Establish and maintain professional relationships with members/guest and staff
Other duties and projects as assigned
Expectations:
Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health Clubs
Develop and build a team atmosphere among staff and department
Ability to respond to common inquiries
Job Requirements:
Available to work weekends and evenings and holidays
Ability to work well with others
Experience in cash handling and credit cards
Customer service abilities
Experience managing in the food industry
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
