    SUMMARY

    Dan Luna Exceptional Woodworking is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter/Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and schematics using Cabinet Vision software. This position requires a strong understanding of custom cabinetry and millwork manufacturing for high-end residential homes. The CAD Drafter/Detailer will play a crucial role in bringing projects from concept to completion and ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Draft and detail out the designer's plans for cabinet and millwork manufacturing using Cabinet Vision software

    Create shop drawings and cut lists for manufacturing

    Create 3D renderings to aid in project presentations

    Collaborate with other team members

    Requisition of materials

    CNC programming

    Assist with field measurements and takeoff

    Ensure accuracy of drawings by conducting thorough periodic and final checks

    Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions for future reference

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum 3 years experience with cabinetry design software (required) (Cabinet Vision preferred)

    Minimum 5 years experience in the manufacturing of cabinetry and millwork from machining through assembly (required)

    Experience installing custom residential cabinetry and millwork (preferred)

    Ability to read architectural blueprints and product schematics

    Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting, detailing techniques

    Ability to create detailed schematics and technical drawings accurately

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with strong organizational skills

    Extensive knowledge of mathematical and geometrical concepts formulas, and calculations

    Ability to take initiative and be creative at problem-solving

    Effective communication skills

    Pleasant with others, displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude

    Must be flexible, and able to change direction on short notice

    Degree, diploma, or certificate in CAD (preferred)
